A seized or leaking choke plunger makes cold starting difficult and causes erratic idling once the engine is warm. This kit replaces the plunger, spring, and seals that sit inside the carburetor body. Moisture and dirt ingress lead to corrosion on the plunger surface, preventing it from seating fully. This results in a constant rich condition that fouls plugs and wastes fuel. Installation is straightforward but requires care to avoid cross-threading the nut into the carb body. It is a vital fix for any bike that has been sat or used in harsh, muddy conditions.
