Replace your factory cable with this direct-fit unit, corresponding to OEM 4D3-26335-00-00. It transfers lever input to the clutch release mechanism for smooth gear transitions. Cables are high-wear items that stretch and fray under the demands of off-road riding. If your clutch pull feels notched or stiff, the internal liner is likely worn out. When fitting the new cable, follow the original routing to ensure it does not bind during steering. Check for clearance around the engine and adjust the free-play at the lever to ensure the clutch fully disengages when required.
