This cable is a direct replacement for OEM 58200-45G00, connecting your clutch perch to the engine's release arm. Continuous use causes the inner wire to stretch and the outer sleeve to wear, resulting in a heavy lever pull. A frayed cable is a common cause of failure that can leave you stranded. Installing a fresh cable restores the precise feel needed for race starts and technical climbs. Route the cable carefully through the headstock to avoid pinching. Adjust the free-play at the lever to maintain the correct biting point as the engine temperature rises.
