What it is

This cable replaces OEM 54011-1266 and 54011-4006, providing a direct fit for your clutch assembly. It transmits lever movement to the release arm on the engine casing. Over time, the outer housing can become brittle and the inner wire can stretch, ruining your lever feel. A new cable ensures the light, consistent action required for competitive riding. During installation, avoid tight bends that could increase friction. Ensure the cable is kept away from hot engine components. Adjust the free-play at the lever to prevent the clutch from slipping under high load.
