This 48mm split seal driver is the correct tool for seating fork seals and dust wipers on modern large-diameter forks. The two-piece design allows you to install the tool around the leg without dismantling the entire internal assembly. It provides an even, weighted strike to drive the seal perfectly square into the outer tube. Using the correct size prevents damage to the seal casing and ensures a reliable, leak-free finish. This is an essential workshop item for maintaining the front end of your bike. Always lubricate the seal lip with fork oil before installation to ensure a smooth fit.
