These sintered pads are engineered for the harsh environments encountered by ATVs. They sit in the brake circuit and are designed to resist the abrasive effects of mud, sand, and grit. The sintered compound ensures consistent performance even when the caliper is submerged. Replace these when the friction material is worn to prevent damage to your brake discs. Fitment is specific to your model's caliper. During installation, inspect the slider boots for tears. A thin smear of copper grease on the back of the pads can help prevent brake squeal in dry conditions.
