What it is

The RENTHAL FATBAR 673 TRIAL GOLD, handlebars. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This tapered bar eliminates the need for a crossbrace while maintaining strength for trials competition. The 673 bend is tailored for body positioning during slow-speed manoeuvres and vertical obstacles. A 28.6mm clamping area increases rigidity and reduces vibration through the grips. If your bike currently uses 22.2mm bars, you will need oversized bar mounts to fit these. Replace them after heavy impacts to ensure the aluminium has not reached its fatigue limit. Position the bars in the clamps to suit your reach and height. Check all control clearances at full lock.
