What it is

Goes in the rear when you're dropping pressures for grip and don't fancy walking out. 4mm of butyl takes the hit on square edges, rock gardens, and rooty enduro lines where a standard tube folds. TR-4 valve sits straight through a dirt-bike rim. Talc the inside of the tyre before you fit it, line the valve square to the hole, and torque your rim lock so it doesn't drag the stem under hard drive or panic braking. Pair it with a rim band. Swap it when you swap the tyre, or sooner if the casing's chafed.
