The BARNETT COMPLETE DIRT DIGGER CLUTCH KIT KEVLAR/STEEL, clutch. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This complete kit includes both Kevlar friction plates and steel drive plates for a total transmission overhaul. The Kevlar friction material handles extreme temperatures without fading, making it suitable for racing. Replacing the entire stack ensures the stack height is within factory tolerance for crisp gear changes. Steel plates provide the necessary mass to dissipate heat away from the friction surfaces. Check your clutch hub and pressure plate for grooving before installation. New plates require a short bedding-in period. Avoid heavy slipping for the first few laps to set the surfaces.
