What it is
The Moose Offroad GUIDE BUSHING SET 48MM, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Guide bushings sit pressed into the outer fork tube. They keep the stanchion centred and give it a low-friction surface to slide on. The Teflon overlay wears through to a copper underlay over hours of stiction and dirt ingress; once you see copper, the part is done. 48mm sizing covers the WP Xplor and Xact forks on most modern KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas and Husaberg enduro and MX bikes, plus the KYB SSS legs on YZ-F and YZ two-strokes. Fit as a pair, every seal change. Bushing replacement is cheap insurance against scored stanchions.
