These seals sit within the fork assembly to retain oil and maintain damping pressure. They are sized for 32mm stanchions, often found on smaller bikes or trials machines. Replace these as soon as oil appears on the fork legs to prevent loss of damping and front brake contamination. Dirt ingress is the most common cause of failure, so ensure your dust wipers are also in good condition. During installation, lubricate the seal lips with a small amount of fork oil. A square fitment in the fork leg is essential for a proper seal.
