What it is
The Moose Offroad Rim Lock, Rubber Coated Aluminum 1.40" - 1.60", motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
This rubber-coated rim lock is designed for narrow front rims. The moulded rubber cover protects the inner tube from abrasion and reduces the risk of pinch punctures during installation. It sits inside the rim to clamp the tyre bead, preventing rotation under heavy braking. This is a vital upgrade for riders tackling technical terrain at low pressures. The 1.40 to 1.60-inch fitment covers most standard small-bore and full-size front wheels. Replace your rim lock if the rubber starts to perish or the bolt becomes seized.
